Do you know the Five Stages of Kidney Disease or CKD (chronic kidney disease)?
This table describes the five stages of kidney disease, based on the kidney test known as GFR or glomerular filtration rate.
GFR is a measure of how effective the kidneys are at filtering waste products and excess water from the blood circulation. Glomeruli is the medical term for the filtering tubules of the kidneys.
